This 4-day adventure connects Tanzania’s most iconic southern parks. Starting from Dar es Salaam, you'll venture into Mikumi National Park, often called the "Mini-Serengeti" for its open horizons and high concentration of lions and elephants. The journey continues to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous), Africa’s largest protected area. Here, you will witness the wild from a different perspective with a boat safari on the Rufiji River and an immersive walking safari led by local experts.
Begin your safari with pickup from your Dar es Salaam hotel and drive to Mikumi via Morogoro. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting elephants, giraffes, and lions.

Depart for Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River, home to hippos, crocodiles, and exotic birds.
