Tarangire National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is one of the country’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Covering an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers, Tarangire is home to an impressive variety of animals and offers a unique safari experience.
One of the park’s standout features is its large elephant population. During the dry season, Tarangire becomes a vital refuge for these majestic creatures as they congregate near the Tarangire River. In fact, it’s common to see herds of up to 300 elephants moving gracefully across the park.
Kai Tours and Safaris offers expertly guided tours, ensuring that each visitor gains a deeper understanding of the wildlife, ecosystems, and history. Whether you’re visiting for a day or as part of a longer safari, we tailor our tours to ensure you get the most out of your time.
