Detailed Tour Itinerary
Morning pickup from Dar es Salaam or a fly-in from Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Saadani, we head straight to the Wami River for a private boat safari. Track giant crocodiles, pods of hippos, and exotic riverine birds like the Mangrove Kingfisher. After lunch at your lodge, we head out for a sunset game drive to spot the elusive leopards and prides of lions that call this coastal forest home.

A sunrise walking safari offers an intimate look at the flora and fauna. After breakfast, we take a long game drive toward the Mafui Sandbank. Here, you can enjoy snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs or simply enjoy a seafood picnic on a deserted beach. The afternoon is dedicated to tracking herd of up to 30 elephants and the rare Roosevelt's Sable Antelope. End the day with a traditional Swahili BBQ dinner under the stars.
Activity: Snorkeling & Game Viewing.On our final morning, we visit the Green Turtle breeding sites (seasonal) or take a morning dolphin-spotting cruise. After a final game drive through the park gate to spot any last-minute wildebeests or giraffes, we enjoy a hot lunch before transferring you back to the airport or Dar es Salaam city center.
