Day 1 - Tarangire National Park

You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will have a meet and greet with our airport official team who will assist you with the visa and luggage. You'll also enjoy some welcoming refreshments with your driver-guide who will drive you to Tarangire National Park ready to start your amazing game drive. The safari starts in Kilimanjaro after a brief introduction with your guide you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry seasons. The park is well known for its large number of elephants, giant baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. After the game drive, you will drive to your lodge or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch. Once you finish your game, your driver guide will transfer you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home or to another destination where the safari will end.

Lake Manyara National covers an area of about 330 sq km which is equal to 127 sq miles, whereby up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of Soda Lake when the water level is high. Lake Manyara National Park is an excellent destination for bird watching and a good ecosystem for watching different wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebra, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and legendary tree-climbing lions. Also at some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicles at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
