Hiking Itinerary
Morning pick-up from your hotel and drive to Marangu Gate. After registration, begin your trek through the dense rainforest. Marvel at the mountain's incredible flora and fauna—keep an eye out for vibrant birdlife and playful monkeys.
Trek for 3-4 hours until you reach Mandara Hut (2,720m). Enjoy your packed lunch here. Optionally, take a short walk to Maundy Crater for stunning views of the snow-capped Kibo peak. In the afternoon, descend back to the gate and transfer back to Arusha/Moshi before sunset.
